Judith S. "Judy" Ritter, 67, of Olney, went to be with her Lord Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Cremation rites accorded with graveside memorial at Haven Hill Cemetery.

Ms. Ritter was born August 22, 1939 in Olney, the daughter of Howard and Edith (Ulmer) Ritter. They preceded her in death.

She was a retired school teacher for Central A&M School District #1 in Moweaqua. After retiring from teaching, she was the Program Director for Burgin Manor in Olney and was the Secretary for Humane Society of Olney Area. She was a member of Alpha Theta Tau and Special Education.

Ms. Ritter is survived by her son, Chris Kirkwood and his wife, Heather of Olney; granddaughter, Lyndsey Kirkwood of Calhoun; step-grandchildren; and sister, Susan Parish of Beardstown.
