1909-2007 Marjorie Louisa Brody Michael
Marjorie Louisa Brody Michael of College Station died January 10, 2007 in College Station. She was 97. Michael was born July 15, 1909 in Fabius Township, St. Joseph County, Mich., the second child of Clark Louis Brody and Margaret Ellen York Brody. She received a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Michigan State University and a master's degree in library science from the University of Michigan. She worked as a librarian in Flint, Detroit and Lansing, Michigan, and retired in 1972. She had lived in Bryan-College Station since 1995.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Eugene Charleton of College Station; a grandson, Navy Musician First Class Ian Charleton of Norfolk, Va., and a brother, Clark Louis Brody of Evanston, Ill. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made to the Larry J. Ringer Public Library.
