Edward Jewett, age 58 years, a native of New York, who came to Great Falls six years ago from California and has since been dealing faro in various beer halls in this city and most recently in the Milwaukee beer hall, was found unconscious in a closet adjoining the Stockholm beer hall at 1 p.m. yesterday. He was removed to a room and a physician was summoned, but he died in a few minutes. A coroner's inquest was held yesterday evening, the jury returning the verdict that death resulted from heart failure. The funeral will be held at the undertaking parlors at 2 p.m. today, and interment will be made in Highland cemetery.
