Anthony Messina, 80, passed from this life on February 23, 2010 in Baytown, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, with a 7 p.m. rosary at Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne. A funeral miss is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010, at St. Mary's Church in Hearne. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bryan.
Anthony was born November 20, 1929 to Frank and Margaret Messina. Tony retired from Amoco pipeline after 35 years, in 1985. In his retirement, Tony was in the lock and key business in Baytown.
Tony was a truly inspiring man who will be missed, not only by his family but all other people that have had the pleasure to meet him.
Anthony was preceded in death by one son, Charles E. Messina, in 1991
Survivors include his wife, Janie V. Messina; sons, Frank and Robin Messina, Jim M. and Vickie Messina, John Messina, Tony P. and Amy Messina and Joseph W. Messina.
