Mrs. Grace Bryan Flowers, 66, wife of Albert M. Flowers, of Hickory, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Carl Spragg, 1030 East High street, at 10 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 1950, after an illness of two years.

She was born June 18, 1883, at Kilmarnick, Scotland, a daughter of James and Annie Kennedy Bryan, and spent most of her life in Greene and Washington Counties. For the past 21 years she resided at Hickory. She was united in marriage Dec. 19, 1908. Surviving with her husband are three sisters, Mrs. Carl M. Spragg, and Mrs. Wilbur Cross, both of Waynesburg; Mrs. C. M. Spangler, Philadelphia; two brothers, James Bryan, Beaver Falls and William Bryan, at home. One brother is deceased.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Hickory where she was active in church work. She was also a member of the Hickory Women's Club.Daughter of James and Annie Kennedy Bryan.
