EDNA BEASLEY, age 88, of Liverpool, Texas passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Evening Star Personal Care Center, Alvin, Texas. Edna was born on November 5, 1921 in Dallas, Texas and was a resident of Liverpool for 40 years. She worked at the Alvin School Cafeteria and Monsanto Cafeteria and was a member of Bayou Drive Baptist Church. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Beasley; parents, Willie and Allie Berry; sister, Helen Wampler; and brother, Carl Berry.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Patsy Allen of Liverpool, Texas; sons: Howard Beasley and wife, Lucile of Liverpool, Texas, and Terry Beasley and wife, Bonny of Liverpool, Texas; sisters: Joyce Teague and husband, J.D. of Fairfield, Texas, and Martha Roberts of Alvin, Texas; brother, Tommy Berry of Alvin, Texas; four grandchildren: Bridget, Mitchell, Mike and Evan; six great-grandchildren: Amorey, Britta, Cheslie, Garrett, Greg and Aaron; two great-great-grandchildren: Maddox and Stanleigh; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Scott Funeral Home.

Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2010 at Bayou Drive Baptist Church with Pastor Shawn Nichols officiating. Graveside services were at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Russell Cemetery, Rusk, Texas.
