Anna Kunc died March 22, 1915, at the home of her son, Frank, in Stanton township, Ottawa County, Kansas. Funeral services were held at the home March 24th, conducted by Rev. Alexander, pastor of the M.E. church of Ada and her body was laid to rest in the Bohemian cemetery in Stanton township.

Anna Kyselka was born in the city of "Myto (Month), Austro, Bohemia," January 6, 1836. She was married to Anton Kunc in 1858. To this union were born nine children, three of whom died in their infancy. Frona Svatopolsky-Smejkal died at the age of thirty-nine, leaving a husband and seven children. Remaining four sons, Charles, Vencel, Anton, Frank; daughter, Anna Yager, and Albert and Anton Svatopolsky were at her bedside when she breathed her last.

They moved to this country in 1875, and lived in the city of Allegheny, Pennsylvania. In 1878, they came to Ottawa county, Kansas where she lived the rest of her life. She has been a good and faithful wife, and a kind mother. She leaves four sons, one daughter, twenty-six grand-children, nine great-grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Her husband departed to a better world in 1907. He was a kind father and a good husband.
