Mrs. Mary H. Beatty, aged 61 years of 207 1/2 North Liberty street, one of the best known women of the Seventh ward died suddenly Thursday evening at seven o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.L. DeRoss, 619 West Madison avenue.
Mrs. Beatty was a devoted and consistent member of the Mahoningtown Presbyterian church where she took an active interest in all departments of church work. Besides one daughter, Mrs. DeRoss, she leaves one son, Charles W. Beatty at home and three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from the daughter's home on West Madison avenue in charge of Rev. S.J. Purvis of Youngstown. Burial will be made in Valley View cemetery.
