Mrs. Meda Boucher, Who Died in California, Will Be Buried Tomorrow.
Mrs. Meda Boucher, the wife of Valentine Boucher, died August 18th at Highland, Calif., and the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home residence, two and one-half miles east of Galena. The story of Mrs. Boucher's death is a sad one. While playing in youth, a ball discharged from a rifle pierced her side and though the wound closed, the dread consumption developed. Her husband did all in his power to take care of her and they have been traveling in the west the past year in the hope of bettering the health of the invalid, but on August 18th, she succumbed to her final fatal illness. The remains arrived in the city yesterday and will be interred tomorrow.
