It is commonly thought that he is buried in Crossroads Cemetery, where his brother Jacob is buried. No stone has ever been found.

Sugested edit: John died in Turkeyfoot Township in 1826. In 1848 the area he lived in was split off to from Upper Turkeyfoot Township, his land was not in Lower Turkeyfoot to the west. Contributor: Glen Swartz (46889224)
