Albert W. Phillips, for 35 years an engineer in the employ of the Pennsylvania, died at his residence, 110 East Wabash avenue, Thursday night at 9 o'clock, death being caused by pneumonia.
Mr. Phillips was 61 years and 7 days of age. Since he was a young man, he had been an engineer with the Pennsylvania company and had been a most efficient and trusted employe. For 25 years, he had resided in this city, and in that time, had won the friendship and confidence of all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Phillips, four sons, J. Marshall Phillips, Raymond, Francis and Lester Phillips, the three last named being at home. One brother, William, is in California.
The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence.
