Athens, AL - Mrs. Virta Inez Carwile, 77, Athens, died Friday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Dewey Craft and Dr. Rick Craft officiating.
Mrs. Carwile was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Dale Carwile of Athens; four daughters, Dorothy Carwile Lyles, Annette Carwile Lauderdale, Judy Carwile Brown and Patsy Carwile Young, all of Athens; a brother, J. C. Conn of Athens; a sister, Mamie Puckett of Kingston, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
