15 Jan 1943: Mrs. Ida H. Shanaman passed away at 1:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Achey, near Richland on Myerstown Rural Route 2. She was aged 65 years and was a member of the Grace Reformed Church, Richland. In addition to the daughter named, she leaves a son, Harry Shanaman; and three other daughters, Mrs. Harry Haas, Fredericksburg; Mrs. Monroe Bender, Fredericksburg Rural Route 1, and Mrs. Rufus Hower, Myerstown.
