George TROUT was born circa 1776, most likely in Loudoun County, Virginia.

-- George married first to unknown in about 1803, Loudoun County, Virginia, and two children were born to this union.

-- George married second to Sarah FISHER (1783-1862) on 10 Dec 1809 in Loudoun County, Virginia, and 10 children were born to this union.

-- George was a veteran of peacetime militia service, serving as a private in Lt. Richard Keen's Company, 2nd Bn, 57th Regt, VA Militia (Loudoun County, VA).

-- Late in life, George TROUT often added a final "e" on his name (TROUTE).

Based on Y-DNA testing of proven descendants, George clearly descended from the "TRAUT Brethren" (Line #2) of Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, although final validation for the linking generations is still pending. George is believed to be the son of Jeremiah TROUT (1725-1778), Line #42, who died in 1778 , Loudoun County. Research Continues.
