Naoma was born in Princeton, TX on July 3, 1925, and was a devoted wife, mother and friend.
She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and sense of humor, as well her special gift for cooking, doll-making and sewing. She has been a member of Tallowood Baptist Church of Houston, TX for the last 35 years.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Cecil Garrison; sons, Philip and wife, Pam of Houston, TX and Paul and wife, Estelee of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Alicia of Houston, TX and Alan of Keller, TX; brother, Edward Smith and wife, Marian of Missouri City, TX; and nieces and nephew.
Special thanks to Kim Crandall who has been her loving caregiver and friend for the last five years and to the wonderful nurses and CNAs at Heartland Nursing Home.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19th, at Osborn Funeral Home. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20th, in the Chapel of Osborn. Officiating will be Dr. Floyd Davis, Jr. of Woodridge Baptist Church, Shreveport. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children's Home (7200 Desiard Street in Monroe, LA 71203) or a charity of your choice.
