She became a professor of Christ in her eighteenth year and joined the Methodist Church at Marses Chapel, Adair County, Ky., and remained a consistant christian until her death. her last words to her family were, I am ready, I am not afraid to die, her sufferings were great, though she bore it with patients, O children if I don't get some relief I must soon leave you, she bore it with patients and said, if it is the Lords will I wish he would take me and alas! She was left us, her spirit has died; her body now slumbers along with the dead, but to her we know a place is given, amoung the saints with Christ in heaven.
Now the family circle is broken but our loss is Heavens eternal gain, and we will meet her over there where sorrow and suffering are unknown and be reunited again where where there will be no more parting and God shall wipe away all tears. A bereaved family.
