Eunice Gowen, 70, died Monday, April 15 , 1963 at the home o f a daughter, Mrs. Roy Crowe in Louisville. A native of Green Co., he was born August 27, 1892, a son of the late Henry C. Gowen and Martha Patton Gowen. He married Miss Mary Evelyn Erwin who died March 22, 1954. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Doris Beams, Campbellsville; Mrs. Carolyn Carter and Mrs. Charlotte Crowe, both of Louisville; one son, Finis R. Gowen, Grab; a sister, Mrs. Mary McAlister, Greensburg, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home Wednesday, April 17 with burial in the Gowen Cemetery. The Rev. Terry Bishop officiating. Pallbearers were Hobert Keltner, Jerry Arnett, Boyce Davis, Gearon Simpson, Ulys Davis and Loy Davis.
