Ernestine Kramel Kosar was born in Vienna, Austria, January 13, 1895 and died April 23, 1964 of a heart attack, at the age of 69 years, 3 months and 10, days.

Her childhood was spent in Czechoslovakia and Berlin, Germany. Ernestine and Frank E. Kosar were married June 23, 1914 and spent their married life on the Kosar homestead south of Glasco and would have celebrated their Golden Wedding this June. Two sons were born to this union, Andrew William and Frank Edward Jr.

Ernestine was loved by her family and friends. She took great pride in her garden and flowers. She was always ready land willing to help her neighbors in time of need. She was a member of the Western Bohemian Fraternal Association, Lodge No. 203, Glasco, Kansas.

She was preceded in death in 1960 by one son, Andrew William and her parents.

She is survived by her husband Frank, of the home, her son Frank Jr. of Ada and five grand-daughters, Jan Driscoll and her husband, Mickey and Joan Schulte and her husband Larry, of Glasco, Vonda Lee Kosar of Ada, Janet and Jane Kosar of Concordia and two daughters-in-law, Marjorie Kosar of Ada and Marilla Kosar of Concordia and 3
great-grandsons, Curtis and Mike Driscoll and Jarold Schulte of Glasco and a half-sister, Elsie of Denver, Colorado and a host of relatives and friends.

Dean's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and interment was at the National Bohemian Cemetery.

Ronald King was soloist and Virginia Halderson was accomanist. Pallbearers were Henry Blaha, Joe Schramek, Walter Kimsey, Orville Kimsey, Delbert Parks and Elmer Prochaska.
