Born Sept. 25, 1915, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Maude Daisey Holtzman Royer.
Her husband, Jack W. White, died in 1980. They were married in November 1935.
She was a 1933 graduate of Greencastle High School in Greencastle, Pa.
She was employed by the Waynesboro Area School District as the head cook at Wayne Heights Elementary School for a number of years.
She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waynesboro.
She also was a member of South Chapter AARP No. 2977, Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary, both of Waynesboro, and the National AARP. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and for Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary in the snack bar.
She was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by one daughter, Constance "Connie" L. Martin of Frederick, Md.; one son, Jack R. White of Waynesboro; one sister, Mildred Spangler of Waynesboro; five brothers, Paul F. Royer, Samuel K. Royer, Robert L. Royer and Ralph R. Royer, all of Waynesboro, and James G. Royer of Hagerstown; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel L. Keough and Katherine Gardenhour; and three brothers, Richard Royer, John K. Royer and Donald Royer.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro. The Rev. Richard A. Seaks will officiate.
There will be no public viewing.
