Norbert Joseph Reinsel, 68, of 58 East Eighth Avenue, Clarion, died in his home at 5 a.m. Tuesday [Nov 19, 1963].

Mr. Reinsel was born in Clarion County, Feb. 8, 1895, the son of Charles F. Reinsel and Joanna Thompson Reinsel. He was married May 25, 1920, to Anna Josephine Cyphert who survives.

A retired carpenter, he was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He was a veteran of World War I, having enlisted May 18, 1917, and being honorably discharged September 26, 1919. He served as a sergeant in the First U.S. Engineers, First Division and took part in the major campaigns of the war in Germany and France during the war.
Mr. Reinsel was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Clarion; a member of the Veterans of World War I, a member of the American Legion, Clarion.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by the following children; Glenn Joseph, with the American Consulate General, Blantyre, Nyaadland, Africa; Amber Josephine Henry, Longwood, Florida; Anna Virginia Ross, Brackenridge; Charles, Norbert, Clarion and Cletus Gregory, Bigler, Pa.

Also surviving are one brother, Paul of Clarion RD 1 and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Ion Miller of Strattanville RD and Mrs. Chester (Martha) Miller of Clarion and a number of grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Goble Funeral Home, Clarion, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A requiem high mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Church, Clarion, Father Joseph Meisinger, church pastor, being the celebrant. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
