SYLVIA DELL DAVIS
Sylvia Dell Balser Davis, 95, 2021 S. K St., died Thursday at Mercy Hospital.
Born Oct. 16, 1893, in Tipton County, she was the daughter of Frank and Malinda E. Morris Balser.
She married Thomas Edwin Davis May 26, 1917. He preceded her in death june 19, 1966.
She was a member of the First Church of God in Elwood.
Surviving are two daughters, Olive Locke of Lady Lake, Fla., and Elvona Tolle of Elwood; three sons, Paul W. Davis of Anderson, Thomas E. Davis of Greenwood
and Richard "Zip" Davis of Elwood; a brother, Howard Balser of Dundalk, Md.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Copher and Fesler Funeral Home, 415 S. Anderson St., Elwood, with the Rev. Ron Putnam officiating. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
