Services for Isaac Price DeLong, 84, of Irving, Texas, were conducted Saturday at 11 A.M. at the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Buford Stockard. Burial followed in Eliasville Cemetery. DeLong died Feb. 21 at Colonial Manor in Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas.
Born Aug. 5, 1895, Eliasville, he was the son of Elias Pete and Martha Orr DeLong. He was united in marriage to Zula Griffin in 1916 in Eliasville. A resident of Eliasville all of his life, DeLong was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Clovie Myers of Dallas, Frances Miller of Ft. Worth and Eula Brown of Cleburne; two sons, Rayburn of Canton, Texas and Clinton of Farmington, N.M.; one sister, Mary Washburn of Eliasville and one brother, Will Delong of Eliasville.
Pallbearers were Clyde DeLong, Charles DeLong, Isaac Washburn, Gerald Washburn, Clarlie Mooneyham and Leon Casey. Honorary pallbearers were Hershel Akers, Bill Akers, and Dutch Griffin.
