Serving as pallbearers were Caine Patman, Jordan Brinkley, Jimmy Lavender, Grover Lavender, Gary Shaw, and David Myers.
Honorary pallbearers were Lou's friends from Senior Citizens Dance.
Mrs. Brown passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Fort Worth. She was born in Eliasville, Texas on April 1, 1919, the daughter of Zula (Griffin) and Isaac DeLong.
She was a member of the Nolan River Road Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Lou was a strong Christian woman who lived her life to the fullest. She loved to dance; loved people; and loved to give hugs. "Granny Lou" was a sweet lady who never met a stranger and everyone was her buddy. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Matthew Brown; brother, Rayburne and sister, Francis.
Lou Brown is survived by her son, Jimmy Nelson of Calif., daughter, Beverly Patman and husband, Pat, of Rio Vista; brother, Clinton DeLong of Odessa, Texas; sister, Clovie Myers of Plano; grandson, Caine Patman and his fiancée Tailer Honaker.
