OBITUARY - MRS. WILLIAM DEANS

News of the death of Mrs. William Deans, late of
"The Willows", Coolah, was received with deep feelings of regret by a circle of friends throughout the district.

The sad event occurred at Cessnock on Friday,13th instant, following on an operation for an internal complaint. The deceased had been in ill health for some months, and a little while ago she went on a visit to her daughter at Cessnock, where her condition gradually became worse, necessitating an operation from which she did not recover. The remains were brought to Coolah and interred in the Presbyterian section of the Coolah cemetery.

A large number of mourners and sympathisers followed the cortege to the cemetery. The Rev. C. H. Scarle, rector of St. Andrew's, read the burial service in the absence of the Rev. Caldwell Wearne.

Heartfelt sympathy is expressed for the bereft husband and family.
