Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Linaweaver of 105 E. Kay, Lansing, who died this morning in St. John Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Sexton Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Sunset memory Gardens.
Mrs. Linaweaver had been a resident of Leavenworth County for more that 50 years. She was born at Woodstock, Va., a daughter of Mr and Mrs Perry Smoot. She attended school in Virginia and was married to Claude Linaweaver on Jan. 10, 1911 in Virginia.
They moved to Leavenworth County shortly after their marrriage and settled in Delaware Township. Mr. Linaweaver was Leavenworth county assessor for many years. He died in 1968.
She attended Lansing Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Roth of Lenexa; three sons, Carl of RR 3, Glenn of 112 W. Kay, Lansing, and Walter of 109 N. Main, Lansing; a sister, Mrs Madeline Landcaster of Chevy Chase, Md; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lansing Baptist Church. Friends may call at the Sexton Chapel after 4 p.m. Friday.
