Mrs. Vet Wood Dead

Mrs. Lilly Wood, Widow of the late Sylvester V. Wood of Williamsport, died Wednesday afternoon of last week at her home on Fall street in Williamsport. Death was caused by a complication of troubles of which she had been ill for several months.

Mrs. Wood was 67 years old the 18th of last July. She was a daughter of James and Amelia Darling and had spent nearly all her life in Williamsport. She was a member of the Williamsport M. E. church and the Pythian Sisters order. She is survived by one son, Freeman Wood, who resides near Lafayette, and one brother, Jay Darling who resides in Williamsport.

The funeral was conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the M. E. church in Williamsport, Rev. C. B. Stanforth officiating. Following the funeral discourse by Rev. Stanforth, the Pythian Sisters officiated with the last rites of their order. Burial was made in Highland Cemetery.
