Irving Sorell, 72, died Thursday, September 21, 2000 at Putnam Community Medical Center. He was born in Highland Park, Mich. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired shoe salesman who loved boating and spending time with his family. Survivors are his wife, Sonja Sorell of Satsuma, Fl.; sons, Walker Sorell of Satsuma, Henry Sorell of Welaka, Erine Sorell of St. Augustine; sisters, Blanche Lodden of Mich., Alida Hansen of Louisiana, Shirley Conrad of Mich.; grandchildren, Amelyn, Sharon, Haley, and Marlee. A service is not planned at this time. Watts Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
