Mrs. Clementine Orndoff Throckmorton, widow of John R. Throckmorton, deceased, died at her home on West Franklin street, Wednesday morning, December 13, aged 57 years. She had been ill for the past two years and for several months her condition had been very serious. Mrs. Throckmorton was a daughter of Remembrance and Jane Kent Orndoff, deceased, and was born in Whiteley township, where she spent her early life. After her marriage with Mr. Throckmorton they made their home in Waynesburg. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and a devout christian woman. For a number of years she was a teacher in the Sunday school and took an active part in the different organizations of the church. She is survived by one son, John Throckmorton, at home, and two brothers, Hicey Orndoff, of Waynesburg, and Budd Orndoff, of Waynesburg, R. D. 1.
