ANDERSON — Martha (Deakyne) Dwiggins, 99, of Anderson, passed away March 20, 2010.

She was born Sept. 25, 1910, the daughter of Finn N. and Maggie (McCoy) Deakyne, in Sheridan. She lived in the Anderson area most of her life. She worked at Delco Remy for 34 years. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School, Class of 1939, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Sheridan.

She is survived by . . ..

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William O. Dwiggins, in 1989; twin sister, Mary D. Byrne; sister, Ruth D. Cox; and brothers, Ralph K. Deakyne, Howard L. Deakyne, James H. Deakyne and Clifford A. Deakyne.

A special thanks to two great nieces, . . .and . . ., who helped take care of Martha for 15 years, and two great-great-nephews, . . . and . . ., and a special thanks to her friend and caregiver, . . ..

Graveside services and burial will take place at noon Tuesday at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson.
