COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 12/26/2004 – SELLERSBURG
KERSTETTER - Clayton H., 81, died Thursday, December 23, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family. He was born the son of the late Clayton H. Kerstetter Sr. and Mary Gover Kerstetter in Sunbury, PA. Clayton held numerous positions for the government over the years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany, IN. Survivors include his granddaughters, Anastacia M. Babbitt of New Albany and Sarah M. Roberts (Matt) of Floyds Knobs, IN; great-grandchildren, Brittany Babbitt of Georgia, Gabriel Babbitt of Corydon, IN, Jessica Roberts Summers of New Albany, Abby Babbitt of New Albany, Olivia Babbitt of New Albany, Parker Clayton Roberts of Floyds Knobs and Samuel Joseph Babbitt of New Albany; great-great-grandchild, Waylon Matthew Summers; sisters and brother, Hazel, Ruby and Franklin; and son-in-law, Frederick J. Babbitt Sr. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
