COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 10/08/2004 – SELLERSBURG
KERSTETTER - Dorothy H., 81, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004. She was the former Dorothy Byrne Hayden, a daughter of Joshua B. & Mary Byrne (Hagen) Hayden. She was a native of Owensboro, KY, retired from Sears in Louisville and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany, IN. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Marie Ashton, and her grandson, F. Joseph Babbitt Jr. Survivors include her husband, Clayton Kerstetter; granddaughters, Sarah Roberts (Matt) and Anastacia Babbitt; nine great-grandchildren, Brittany, Gabriel, Jessica (Jeremy), Ryan, Dakotah, Abby, Olivia, Parker and Sammy Joe; one great-great-grandson; a brother, John W. Hayden (Louise) of Owensboro; sisters, Rita Secor and Barbara O'Bryan (William), all of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany, with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany. A Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
