George Abbott, 45 years old, died at the home of Benjamin Walker, near Fruitdale. He was a brother of Enoch and Albert Abbott, who resided near Spearsville. He was unmarried.

George Abbett, who had been a resident of Franklin many years and conducted a shoe repair shop died Sunday evening at 6:00 near Spearsville, Brown County.
He was about 50 years of age and single. Death was due to consumption from which his health had been failing for several months.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Spearsville, deceased was a member of the local tribe of Red Men and committee from this lodge attended the funeral.
