Joseph Tucker married Essie A. Flatt on 5 July 1905. She preceded him in death.

Eva Myrtle Guiles married Joe Tucker on 3 October 1954 at Weatherford, Texas. The couple moved to Graham, Texas in 1954. Joseph Tucker was a retired real estate man. Joseph Tucker moved to Graham as a small boy. Faithful member of Eastside Church of Christ

Survivors: sons - Hugh C. Tucker, LaVaughn Tucker, Cleatus Tucker; Daughters - Mrs. Roger Cockburn; Mrs. Jack Armontroutt; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister - Mrs. Claude King
