Vere Maahs, age 52, Bowler, died May 11, 1966 at Tigerton Hospital.
She was born December 8, 1913 in the town of Morris, the daughter of the late Fred and Nora (Miller) Boldig.
On July 2, 1934 Vere was united in marriage to Carlton "Bud" Maahs in Illinois. He survives.
In addition to her husband, survivors include three children, Mary Morgan, Marjorie (Jack) Esler and Penny (James) Ebel; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Louis (Lucille) Boldig and Lee (Marie) Boldig.
Vere was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Boldig.
Funeral services were held May 16, 1966 at Peace Lutheran Church, Tilleda. The Rev. Bentz officiated.
