The following excerpts from Florence's Obituary that was published in the "Leader", Corning, NY on Sept. 22, 2004-
Horseheads Florence Whittaker, age 80, formerly of Addison, NY, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2004, at Elcor Health Services.
Florence was predeceased by her husband, Archie Whittaker and sister, Twila Padgett. Survivors include her nieces; nephews; along with several great nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 23rd from 1 to 2 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home, 1004 Lake St., Elmira, NY. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Elkcreek Cemetery in Borden, NY.
