Mildred Pearl Eldridge, 92, of Rt. 1,
Burnettsville, died at 1 a.m. Sunday,
Oct. 1, 1978, at the Monticello Health
Care Center.
Born Nov. 5, 1885, in Carroll County,
she was the daughter of Albert and
Mary Temple Harris. She was married
April 28,1906, to Thomas Eldridge, who
died Sept. 25, 1964.
She was a member of the Eastlawn
Church.
Surviving are two sons, Paul
Eldridge of Monticello and Willard
Eldridge of Bradington, Fla.; one
daughter, Mrs. Eldo (Florence)
Meeker of Rt. 2, Logansport; one
brother, Larry Harris of Fort Myers,
Fla.; one sister Alta Acheson of South
Bend; four grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren,
and three stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday at the Fisher Funeral Home,
Logansport, with the Rev. Edward
Helm officiating. Burial will be in the
Idaville Cemetery. Calling hours are
from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
