Clara Mattox,
90, of Butler passed away on Friday, April 2, 2004 at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler. Clara was born in Kentucky on September 13, 1913 to the late Jim Willie and Bessie (Hall) Mains, she was a seamstress at the Hyde Park Suit Company as well as the Dr. Scholl's factory in Falmouth. She married Robert Mattox in 1933, she was preceded in death by her husband on September 14, 1994, son Tommy Mattox and sisters Ava Lou Gulick, Hazel Jacobs and Mabel Ryan.
Survivors include: son, David Mattox, Ewing, Ky., daughter, Virginia Goetz, Melbourne, Ky., brother Eldon Mains, Falmouth, Ky., nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday, April 5, 2004 at the Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth, Ky.
Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery.
