"50 years of preaching the gospel for the churches of Christ. Mac was educated in several small schools, graduating from Tulsa Webster in Oklahoma. He was an All-State athlete in both basketball and baseball, and was named to the Okla. Basketball Hall of Fame as one of the States leading scorers for the 1940's. He attended both Tulsa University and Abilene Christian as a scholarship athlete".
