83, of Berry, Ky., passed away on Monday, February 16, 2004 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, he was born in Pikeville, Ky. On December 31, 1920 to the late C.C. And Mossie (Dye) Johnson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lean Just, a brother, Alvis Johnson. He married Mary Akers on July 6, 1954 and she survives his passing. He retired from the U.S. Army and J.I. Case Co.
Additional survivors include: son, Johnnie, Johnson, Berry, daughters, Jewell Johnson, Barbara Turner, both of Berry, Ky., Wanda Roberts, Erlanger, Ky., Roberta Winzel, WI., half-sister, Mary Johnson, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Thursday, February 19, at the Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth, Ky.
Interment took place in the Morgan Cemetery.
