Services for Leslie Walter Hughey, 68, of 1313 Walker, who died Saturday, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Culbertson Mortuary. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 15, 1895, at Caney, Kan., and came to Wichita in 1925. He was a machinist and draftsman and formerly worked for the city and the county. He was a member of Over There VFW Post, past noble grand of Westside Odd Fellows Lodge, a member of Sunflower Masonic Lodge, Wichita Consistory, Air Capital Barracks, Ida Rebekah and Pocahontas lodges and past great sachem, Kansas Order of Red Men.
Survivors include his widow, Nellie L.; a sister, Helen Robertson, Northville, Mich.; three brothers, Verne, Long Beach, Calif., Glen, Battle Creek, Mich., and Melvin, Nashville, Tenn.
