Conflicting day of death - April 6 or April 7, 1877, and burial place - Vigo or Sullivan county, Indiana. According to an Indiana Magazine Of History, "Ezekiel (b. January 1, 1811; d. April 6, 1877), who with his second wife, Martha Lou Rainey (Borders McKinley) and his third wife, Mary Ann Raines, are recorded in this book, is buried in this churchyard."

This magazine entry suggests that Mary Ann is buried in Palmers Prairie, yet her grave marker is located in Hull Cemetery, Terre Haute, IN. Given this conflict, I thought it might be possible that Ezekiel's memorial may have been mistakenly created in Palmers Prairie Cemetery and so requested a new photo to confirm his location in 2016. An updated photo was posted in 2019, so it appears the location is as entered.

Ezekiel was the son of Andrew and Nancy Ellen McGarvey. Andrew reportedly the first burial in Palmers Prairie Cemetery, and Nancy Ellen possibly in Old Shake Cemetery near Paxton.
