Ruby's Father was George M. Riddle and her Mother was Viola Dixie Reed, George's second wife. Dixie is buried in Rhea Co., TN . After the death of her Mother in the 1940s, Ruby came to Rockwood to live with her half-brother, Joseph Riddle and his family. She remained in Rockwood with Joseph and his family until the end of her life. Ruby was well-known for her delicious cooking and she was a caring child-sitter to numerous children.
