Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Polly Youmans Miller, age 81, of Swainsboro, GA. on Tuesday March 2, 2010 at the Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness.

Funeral services are Thursday, March 4th, at 11 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Elder Gary Johnson officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Norristown, GA.

Pallbearers are Rex Bishop, Ben Way, Zac McNeely, Tom Phillips, Jim Phillips and Ricky Phillips.

The family will receive friends at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 PM.

Mrs. Miller, born in Vidalia, GA, was retired from Automatic Sprinkler and was a member of United Primitive Baptist Church. She loved fishing, gardening and being with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cephus and Wynnie Love Youmans and a son, Joe Miller.

Survivors include:

Three Daughter and Sons-In-Law: Patti and Tony Way of Swainsboro, GA; Linda and Don Bishop of Summertown, GA and Liz and Jimmy McNeely of Martinez, GA

One Sister: Velma Way of Swainsboro, GA

Seven Grandchildren: Becky Powell, Ben Way, Rex Bishop, Chase Bishop, Zac McNeely, April McNeely and Brooke McNeely
