AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Estelle Courson Bowers, 83, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Bowers was a loving Mom and Granny who will be deeply missed by her children, Veronica (Ben) Dee, Ted (Tangila) Bowers, Sr. and Gail (David, Sr.) Crenshaw; ten grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 7 PM, Wednesday at His Community Church, 3358 Peach Orchard Road, with Pastor Ken Young officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Dee, Sr., Harold Pierce, Sr., W. C. Crenshaw, Revis Courson, Kenneth Bowers, Everette Benton, Steven Benton and Paul Bowers. Graveside Services will be held 1 PM, Friday in Lawnwood Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Gerald E. Bowers. Sign the guestbook at AugustaChronicle.com
