Barbara Sutton died at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH on April 23, 1989 after a brief illness. She was born on April 25, 1907; the daughter of Henry Sturtevant and Valina Jane (Darling) Richardson.
She graduated from Stevens High School in 1924 and Mount Holyoke College in 1928. She lived in Claremont for most of her life. She worked at the home office of the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance of Springfield, MA for twenty years. She was a member of the Woodman Chapter No 26 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Claremont Historical Society.
She married Charles J Sutton who preceded her in death in 1978.
She leaves several cousins including Edith Greenwood of Claremont, Eleanor Morin of Berlin, NH, John S Richardson of Durham, NC, and Joseph C Richardson of Lancaster, NH.
Burial is in Union cemetery.
