He left to morn his passing his wife Mrs. Emily (nee Neubert) Drennan of the home located at 3930 Castleman Avenue, along with 3 children; Thoams J., Joseph W., and William A. Drennan.
He was also survived by a sister Julie A. Drennan.
It should be noted that Officer Drennan's son Thomas J. Drennan followed his father footsteps and became a 2nd generation police officer retiring as a Sergeant of Police for the same agency.
The wake for Officer Thomas P. Drennan was held at the William J. Robert Livery & Undertaking Company located at 1905 South Grand Avenue.
Burial took place at Calvary Cemetery on 06/16/1945.
Officer Drennan was the son of the late Thomas Drennan, born in Ireland, and Catherine (nee Tracy) Drennan, born in St. Louis Missouri.
