Elizabeth Cornwell Wolfe, wife of Harry Wolfe, deceased, was born in Orange County, Indiana January 11, 1828, and died march 15, 1916, age 88 years, 2 months and 4 day. She was married to Harry Wolfe December 25th, 1851 to which union she became the mother of five children, two of who, Elvit Linville an Alexander, together with the husband have been waiting for her coming to the glory world for many years, and leaving yet to mourn for her three sons, Patterson, Gilderoy, and Henry B.

Aunt Liz, as she was known to every one, was always a kind and affectionate wife and a true and noble mother.
(This part not transcribed.)

A short prayer and song service was conducted at the home on Friday morning, March 17th, by Rev. John W. Marshall, after which the funeral services were held at Stampers Creek church, conducted by Elder Charles Radcliffe assisted by W.C. Hancock in the presence of a large assemblage of sorrowing friends and relatives. The beautiful cream-colored casket was then borne to the grave by six brothers of the deceased, and those cold hard clods on Mothers grave were hidden with the lovely wreaths and bouquets, emblematical of the high respect and esteem of the departed mother and friend.
