Jay T. Dombach, fifty-two, 75 South Avenue, Landisville, died at 1 a.m. Monday at the Osteopathic Hospital after an illness of two weeks.
He was owner and operator of the Dulcey Dress Shop for the past 20 years. Prior to that he was a store manager for W. T. Grant Co.
Born in East Hempfield Twp., he was a son of B. Frank Dombach and the late Myrtle Trout Dombach.
He was a graduate of Landisville High School, class of 1923, Lancaster Boys High School, class of 1924, and Franklin and Marshall College, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Landisville, a charter member of the Landisville Lions Club, where he was a past president and a past secretary, and he was a past president of the Landisville Fire Co. He was also a member of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce; Casiphia Lodge 551, F. & AM, Mount Joy; The Lancaster Lodge of Perfection; the Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Temple, Harrisburg; the Lancaster Shrine Club; and the Lancaster Forrest Tall Cedars of Lebanon 27.
Besides his father and his wife, the former Dorothy Mayer, he is survived by a daughter, Barbara, wife of Lt. Gerald Richardson, El Paso, Texas, and one grandchild.
