Born in East Hempfield Twp., he was a son of B. Frank Dombach and the late Myrtle Trout Dombach.
He was a graduate of Landisville High School, class of 1923, Lancaster Boys High School, class of 1924, and Franklin and Marshall College, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Landisville, a charter member of the Landisville Lions Club, where he was a past president and a past secretary, and he was a past president of the Landisville Fire Co. He was also a member of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce; Casiphia Lodge 551, F. & AM, Mount Joy; The Lancaster Lodge of Perfection; the Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Temple, Harrisburg; the Lancaster Shrine Club; and the Lancaster Forrest Tall Cedars of Lebanon 27.
Besides his father and his wife, the former Dorothy Mayer, he is survived by a daughter, Barbara, wife of Lt. Gerald Richardson, El Paso, Texas, and one grandchild.
