ALBERT DICKERSON

Albert Dickerson, of Salem, NJ, age 73, was born Feb 10, 1933 to the late William and Elvia Dickerson. He departed this life on July 26, 2006. Albert graduated from Salem High School in June 1950. After graduation he entered into the Air Force, he was discharged in Oct. 1953 as Airman 1st Class as a Teletype Operator. Albert was an active member of Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church, Cuff Barksdale American Legion Post 444 and a former member of Wayman Lodge 231 I.B.P.O.E. of W. Albert retired from DuPont Chamber Works as a Security Supervisor in 1996 due to illness. For the past few years he worked in the office of Salem Main Street downtown Salem.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters; Myra Watson of Camden, NJ and Denise Newell of Phila., PA, three sons; Al Watson of Salem, NJ, Albert Jr. of Camden, NJ and Steven Watson, sister; Rachael Bryant of DE, sister-in-law; Elizabeth Dickerson of Salem, NJ, a devoted friend Frances Moore of Salem, NJ and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents Albert was predeceased by three sisters; Bertha Corbin, Frances Gunner, Dorothy Dickerson and three brothers; Fred Cubbage, Joseph and William Dickerson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Au. 1, 2006, 11 am at Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church, Yorke St., Salem, NJ where friends may call after 9am. Interment Salem Co. Vet. Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ. Arr by BAGWELL FUNERAL HOME, Penns Grove, NJ.
