EMERICK-At their home in this city Oct. 30, 1903 Mrs. Mart Emerick after a brief illness. The remains were taken to the child home in Benton County for interment. She left a husband and young babe to mourn the loss.

EMERICK-At her home in this city Oct. 30, 1903 Mrs. J. M. Emerick.
Deceased was the daughter of Mrs. Wm. Pugh of Corvallis, Oregon and was aged 17 years. Less than a year ago she was married to J. M. Emerick of this city, and happiness was queen in that young household until death struck that cruel blow. The remains were taken to Ashville, Linn County, the birth place of deceased and was interred in the Ashville Cemetery.
